Just a sweet little puppy who goes by the name of "Mei-Hua" (meaning plum blossoms, of course). I created this painting this past February in celebration of the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dog. PRINTS are available as well as the ORIGINAL PAINTING (contact me if interested).

Also, pictured below since the IF prompt is DOG), is a recent commission I did a couple of months back. One which I had some trouble parting with because I loved it SO much. nothing like a little bonding time between sisters....with a good book!

this is actually a custom painting i did back in january of this year for a pair of sisters who couldn't be more opposite (hence the one's love for dogs and the other's for cats).

thought it was fitting for this week's IF theme of "book"!

a pickle for patty

here is the finished illustration for the story 'a pickle for patty'. to be featured in the october/november issue of 'stories for children' magazine.
is it wrong to say how fond i am of my own little painting here?;) it's that little pippa (the one with the pigtails) that i absolutely just LOVE! so damn adorable!:)
i will post the link to the finished magazine as soon as it is made available to me so you can read the story that goes along with the illustration.

next up...dorothy from the land of oz. i sketched this out a couple of weeks ago but was working on an illustration for sfcm. now that that is done, i can do some work on cute little dorothy here. i wanted to do a series of these little fairy tale characters and sell them as originals in my etsy shop at www.enchantedeasel.etsy.com already there is sweet little alice...from wonderland, of course;)
